We are looking for a long term intern to join our Data Science team. This role both includes developing data science products and monitoring data science operations in production.

We expect the candidate to be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week between 08:00-19:00, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Product Development

• Doing market research and competitor analysis in the field of machine learning and applications

• Testing open source libraries/algorithms and reporting benchmark figures

• Testing Organon’s AutoML and other ML based products

• Helping the team with project documentations and presentations

Operations

• Improve and contribute to the existing customer operations with data analysis, modeling, scoring and reporting

• Building automated reports and dashboards

• Monitoring jobs (means checking emails and report if there is an issue) 

• Preparing sales pitches and project presentations

Qualifications

• Student at University’s Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or similar quantitative discipline

• Advanced level of English

• Proficiency in SQL and Python 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in extracting, cleaning and preparing data for modeling

• Experience in building and applying machine learning/predictive modeling in real-world use cases

• Having great communication & presentation skills

• Creative and innovative problem-solving skills

• Good team player, result oriented attitude, strong attention to detail and analytical mind

• Intellectual curiosity and a passion for data and analytics

• Strong desire to take initiative; ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives
